The first Mercedes-Benz cars were produced in 1926, and since then, Mercedes have gone on to produce some of the most prestigious and luxurious cars in the automotive market. Today, Mercedes produce one of the largest range of cars, and their strong residual values mean that driving a Mercedes on a lease contract proves to be both an affordable and elegant option.
According to Mercedes themselves, their three-pointed star emblem represents their desire to dominate the motorisation of land, air and sea (three points), and is an excellent short film here that tells the story of how the Mercedes star became the symbol of luxury and performance around the world.
Mercedes also offers AMG variants of each class, and you can expect more aggressive looks, a higher level of performance, handling and aerodynamics as well as the exclusivity that comes with the marque.

The 2020 Mercedes GLC350e plug in hybrid will get more torque, more smoothness and an improved all-electric driving range. The current / outgoing versions 8.7 kwh battery will be replaced by 13.5 kwh battery and will gain such features as the brand's new MBUX interface system, which has a cleaner touchscreen-based interface and enables drivers to say “Hey Mercedes” to access a range of natural-language functions. Mercedes-Benz says that by the end of this year it will have more than 10 plug-in hybrid models available globally.
Hot on the heels of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe, Mercedes-Benz is launching the latest version of its GLE Coupe at the Frankfurt motor show this September. It’s another coupe-roofed SUV, or at least the latest variant of Mercedes’ first dabble with the concept, which began with a rival for BMW’s X6 and has since grown to almost every market segment. With a new AMG 53 version that should continue with 2020’s GLE Coupe. The twin-turbocharged and 48V hybrid-assisted in-line six has previously seen service in the CLS and AMG GT 4-Door, and reappears here to put a 429bhp spring in the GLE Coupe’s step, while also reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
